There is new big news from BAYC, and they are not small! Their Mega Mutant Serum was purchased for an unbelievable 888.0 ETH or $3.6 million.
Mega Mutant Serum was bought by Taylor Gerring, the co-founder of Ethereum Foundation, which is non-profit supporting blockchain technology. Given that, Taylor has even decided to conduct a live stream featuring the Mutant Reveal.
Do you know what is Mega Mutant Serum?
In August BAYC launched an entirely new NFT collection, called MAYC (Mutant Ape Yacht Club). The NFTs were given to all BAYC holders via airdrops of mutant serums. Simply put, a BAYC holder can just infuse their Bored Ape with Mega Mutant Serum to generate a brand new Mutant Ape. Therefore, all BAYC holders with mutant serum are proud owners of MAYC as well.
There were three tiers of Mega Mutant Serum M1, M2, and M3. Where Bored Ape infused with M1 or M2 carry the characteristics of a first gorilla, and M3 serum generates an ape with more uncommon attributes.
