“The Warehouse” is the new platform made by Dapper Labs and Genies. The gaming and the avatar company will allow users to dress up 3D cartoon avatars that they create on the Genies app.
The Warehouse launched on December 13th to a small network of invite-only users, with both partners stating that the platform will be available to a wider audience in the upcoming months. It will see users being able to kit out their 3D avatars with various different apparel, including shoes, backpacks, masks, and other digital accessories minted on Dapper’s blockchain network, Flow.
All the avatar accessories will mainly be sold for under $20 and buyers will be able to resell them, however, secondary sales will not take place on The Warehouse platform.
This is just a new step in the avatar and gaming world.
