Melting Down to One

I like fashion photography but don’t like the idea of staging it and light it up and clicking .Was always impressed by Caravaggio and the use of chiaroscuro in his creations. So i was always looking for an opportunity to click something that will be an amalgamation of Chiaroscuro and elements of fashion photography yet must notstage it and light it to create the effect. Thus when I was at Goa for this Latin Dance festival, during a dance performance this opportunity came to me. I clicked at the right moment to come up with this creation. I didn’t had to stage it or light it to create what I had in my mind. The moment is so romantic and elegantly poetic. The performers were so engrossed and the light and dark was playing its part too ,that it appeared they melted together in that special moment to become one.Hence titled it ‘Melting Down To One ‘.
