They announced the closing of a $5 million funding round. The funds will be used to build the newly unveiled blockchain metaverse, Planet Mojo.
The seed round was led by Animoca Brands, with participation also coming from Courtside Ventures, Republic Crypto, Alameda, AU21, Sfermion, Polygon Studios, Collab+Currency, Sky Vision Capital, Spartan Capital, HyperEdge, Momentum6, Fourth Revolution Capital, and others.
Planet Mojo is an auto chess game reinvented for blockchain technology. The game tells the story of a new alien world which is setting nature and machine against each other, where players can discover, explore, and compete in a selection of interconnected tactical strategy games, beginning with an Auto Chess title. Through owning teams as NFTs, users can engage in cross-platform PvP and play-to-earn mechanics, whilst also experiencing augmented reality and charitable eco-friendly features.
In the first quarter of 2022 will see Planet Mojo release a set of 10,000 generative 3D animated NFT ‘Mojos’, which will be directly usable in the game. There will also be additional perks on offer to early adopters of the game, but we will see what happens.
