Nivea NFT collection was sold out in just 3 days and it carries an important message

We all know Nivea, and maybe some people didn’t expect them in the NFT Market they are here and they are succeeding. Their debut NFT collection was a huge success.

The Value of Touch collection was launched on December 13th. 15,000 NFTs were sold in less than 72 hours and people loved them and the message.

What is important to know is that the NFTs were free because affordability is a crucial aspect of the Nivea ethos, and they wanted their first entrance into the metaverse to be free.

“We’re thrilled to see the impact of the project and we want to thank everyone who claimed their limited-edition free NFT. Although our NFTs are sold out, Clarissa´s story will always be an inspiration and a reminder of the value of touch in our lives.”, say from Nivea.

The artist of The Value of Touch collection is Clarissa Baldassarri, who had temporary visual impairment early on in her career as a painter, and this project was a huge inspiration for her. She uses a special technique for the project and she rediscovered art through a process she refers to as ‘conscious touch’.

By 2025, NIVEA aims to globally invest 20 million euros in human touch projects, with a positive impact on the individual health and well-being of more than 150.000 people.
