Sultan Gustaf Al Ghozali is a 22-year-old Indonesian college student that became a millionaire thanks to NFTs. Many people these days have become rich thanks to NFT and crypto, but Sultan Gustaf Al Ghozali outdid himself.
He sold selfies as NFTs! The computer science student from Semarang, Indonesia, converted nearly 1,000 of his selfies taken over the course of five years into NFTs and sold them on the OpenSea marketplace.
He took rather expressionless selfies sitting or standing in front of his computer each day between the ages 18 and 22. He turned these images into NFTs and put them on OpenSea for sale, pricing each at $3.
Ghozali’s NFT collection made him a millionaire after it reached a total trade volume of ETH 317 or $1,041,325. Some of Ghozali’s selfie NFTs sold for ETH 0.9, amounting to around $3,000.
