Twitter is all about NFT and crypto, and no wonder this is where the hype about projects starts, and because of this Twitter decided to embrace the NFT world with a new profile picture feature.
The new Twitter feature offers hexagonal profile pictures for verified NFTs, so long as you’re subscribed to Twitter Blue and using an iOS device. So this will allow users to link their NFT collection to their Twitter profile and obtain a hexagonally-shaped NFT profile picture as proof of authenticity.
The new NFT profile pictures as “a way to show off the NFTs you own on Twitter. After a temporary connection to your crypto wallet that allows you to set up an NFT as your profile picture, your digital asset displays in a special hexagon shape that identifies you as the owner of that NFT.”
The hexagonal profile pictures will provide instant recognition that you own the NFT, so there is no doubt that NFT loving Twitter users are going to be delighted with this new feature.
As of now, the feature only supports Ethereum NFTs and only iOS users can use it; however, the hex-shaped NFT profile pictures will be displayed as such across all platforms.
